Another fun spring month, taking advantage of the beautiful, low humidity and sunshine that Florida gets in April. It’s the reason people flock to Florida for spring break and those who live here take advantage of it too and get outside.
April so far has consisted of an outdoor concert at a lovely, new public space, two lunches with friends for their birthdays and a lot of golf. I’m in the midst planning the end of season golf outing for my neighborhood golf group as well.
My volunteer gardening work has been keeping me busy too. Between my own property, the neighborhood HOA work that I do and my one morning a week for the city, I am most likely getting dirty. But, it is something I truly love and look forward to doing. Even though Hurricane Ian was in October and we are now approaching a new hurricane season, there is still clean up happening. But progress too and that is satisfying.
Melissa, my younger daughter visits next week and I look forward to slowing down with some pool and beach time.
Happy Saturday!
I know you'll have fun with your daughter when she gets there. We had snow flurries today and it's supposed to be 25F tonight. Just when all of the flowers are trying to bloom. Florida sounds pretty good right now.

The spring weather for the north parts of the country has been awful. May has to be better, right?
DeleteYou have been busy! But getting outside and working in the dirt is always a good way to stay busy. Have a great time with your daughter! Quiet time at the beach sounds like a perfect way to rest.
