Just like my neutral Christmas mantel I showed you earlier this week, I am planning on keeping things sweet and simple on my Christmas table as well. I will be using a lot of votives for atmosphere, but when I usually use red candles, this year, everything will be white. By happenstance, I found (at Home Goods) a roll of wide burlap ribbon, painted with white snowflakes and it immediately sent me in this direction.
Spread along the burlap ribbon at the center of the table, inexpensive white pillar candles will be placed in mason jars. Pretty seasonal greenery with white flocking will be tied very simply on the jars with twine. I think it is important in all the busyness of Christmas, to sometimes take a step back and rather than elaborate plans, find the sweet and simple.
Happy Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to keep it simpler this year too. Half my decorations are still in the basement and I'm not sure if they're coming out.
ReplyDeleteLove the simple look of the mason jars with greenery - and that ribbon is fabulous!
LOVE! Neutral is my favorite this year too! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI love simple table centerpieces for real tables. For me, it's all about the people who are joining me for dinner. Your idea is simple and elegant!
ReplyDeleteSo charming and festive. I love simple, pretty displays like this.
ReplyDeletePerfect Vicki! Love the ribbon. Thanks for sharing this with SYC. You should hop over to Art and Sand and link it to Creating Christmas. The party is staying open until the 24th. Her theme was sweet and simple. :)
