My daughter sent me this photo from the MSU Rose Bowl pep rally where they handed out green and white roses to the crowd. The MSU Alumni Association, alone, sent ten planes, filled with Spartan fans and LA has been taken over by the 60,000 + Spartans that made the trip, all fired up and excited about the game today.
Go Green from this proud MSU alumni! Beat Stanford!
How exciting for your daughter! Surprised you didn't make the trip. Some friends of ours were lucky enought to get tickets and are out there! Hope it's a good game. Go Green. Happy New year, Vicki.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! How exciting for your daughter to be there!!! Watching the Rose Bowl was always a part of New Year's Day in our home when I was growing up and I have carried on the tradition :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! How exciting. We were just talking about this at lunch. I had wondered if you all had made the trip. Baylor sent several buses to Phoenix for their game. 16 hours on a bus with your new best friends doesn't sound like too much fun!! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on this flower!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteThe green rose is beautiful. Good luck to your Spartans!
ReplyDeleteThis is a trip that your daughter will never forget!
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure that you would be there too!!! Happy 2014!!
ReplyDeleteGo State! And, kudos to the coach for sticking to values!
ReplyDeleteGo Spartans! By now you would know if they won or not. Sadly we didn't even get television coverage of it here. But we made do with the Hockey Classic game in Ann Arbor where my beloved Maple Leafs won against Detroit. It must have been exciting for your daughter to be there - a trip she'll never forget!
ReplyDeleteGreat game and wonderful green roses:) Love roses in any color! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteGO Green - You WON the 100th Rose Bowl!!! Our Oregon Ducks won two years ago and it is the most amazing feeling to be there - and WIN!
ReplyDeleteThis year we also watched Heather's very cold day in Ann Arbor. We are Anaheim Ducks fans and were very happy that Detroit lost (old grudge). Cheers!
