Super Bowl Sunday was so much fun and we had a great time with our friends, watching the commercials, the half time show and the game. We laughed a lot at the Taco Bell commercial and had a lot to say about Beyonce. I have to admit, that the ladies did not watch the whole game and spent a little time talking and laughing in another room. But, we were there and watching with our husbands for the exciting finish.
Of course, we had a lot of good food. Meatballs, chicken wings, quesadillas, spinach dip and many yummy desserts. Also, I ended up making the Low Fat Buffalo Chicken Dip, I found on Pinterest. I served it with celery sticks and it was both healthy and delicious. The recipe and original pin can be found here.
We always have a nice time when we get together with our friends and the Super Bowl was a great way to chase away the winter blues and have some fun. And, even though the football game was exciting, thank goodness for PBS online - I am off to watch Downton Abbey before I read a spoiler and find out what happened this week. Please don't tell me if you watched it, instead of the game :-)
Happy Monday!

I don't watch football but I love a reason to get together with good friends and family! Glad you had a great evening, Vicki!

I watched every minute, even the commercials:) I enjoyed most of it, a few of the commercials were great and some were not! Anyway, it looks like you all had a great time and lots of good food! Have a blessed day, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteLoved the game and I wish someone had made this wonderful dip for me to snack on instead of the hard core fatty dips. Oh, well. Today is another day...
ReplyDeleteHaha that's how we were - guys watched, girls talked and ate food. It's a win win for everyone :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good dip. Thanks for sharing on foodie friday
