Wine Cork Coasters - Pinterest Project Success

We all pin projects on Pinterest, not knowing how they will turn out or if the instructions given will even work. My daughter, Megan had some free time recently and decided to try a craft project she had been wanting to attempt for a while. She gathered together the wine corks, she had been saving from her job in catering and made these wine cork coasters.

She used a variety of wine corks; both from red and white wine. The different colors, along with the imperfections and markings on the corks, give the coasters a unique charm. You need nineteen 1/2 wine corks for each coaster. Use a sharp knife and a cutting board to cut the corks in half. Start in the center and glue the corks together until a circle is formed.

This was an easy and quick project and I think they turned out great :-)

  17. This is a total success. How cool!
I am visiting from Skip to my Lou, and I have been looking through all your projects. You have some great, great stuff here! I would love it if you'd come over and link up some of your OLDER posts (that's right, Older). I host and oldie's link party, where we strive to give a little more exposure to those old, awesome posts that we were writing when only our moms and husbands were reading our blogs (or was that just me?!?)
    So, consider stopping by!
