I can't resist lighting candles throughout my home, this time of year. As the light fades in the early evening, there is a pull to create a cozy glow that chases away the darkness. This simple ribbon candle vignette was inspired by one I created for St. Patrick's Day here, making a few changes for the season.
Using two tall pillar candles of staggered height, I added a length of harvest themed ribbon to the smaller one by securing it with gold, pearl topped pins. The pins easily push into the candle.
Next I repeated the process with burlap ribbon and white, pearl topped pins. The pins add a special finishing touch and hold everything secure.
For my third candle in the vignette, I decided to use a harvest scented jar candle. Part of the charm of lighting candles, is the wonderful scent that fills your home and you need a good quality jar candle for this. I can replace it easily throughout the fall season, as it burns down. All three candles sit on a clear glass plate.
For very little effort, I have created a unique and beautiful candle grouping that will add warmth and fall color to my kitchen counter.
Happy Tuesday!

Your candle vignette is very peaceful and pretty with the ribbon, burlap and jar. Great combination. Putting it on a glass plate keeps the light moving. Glad you shared this post. I love having candles this time of year also. Make the whole house smell warm and welcoming (and hopefully covers up some of the doggy smell). lol
